Why we exist.
Turkelite was founded by a medical professional with direct clinical experience in Istanbul's private hospital sector. Having observed international patients navigate an industry with limited transparency — choosing facilitators based on search rankings rather than credentials, receiving price quotes without genuine clinical assessments, and returning home without structured follow-up — the decision was made to build something different.
The model is simple: a licensed intermediary that operates the way a trusted advisor would. Clinic-agnostic matching based on your case, not on referral arrangements. Full price transparency before any commitment. Complication insurance as a condition of coordination, not an optional extra. Aftercare that extends twelve months, not twelve days.
Turkelite is registered and operating under the International Health Tourism Authorization Certificate issued by USHAŞ — Turkey's Ministry of Health authority for international health tourism. We were among the first intermediaries to hold this certification under the 2025 regulation.
